SITUATION
A family of five — two adults and three children aged four to eleven — wanted a full-day on the water. They'd looked at group tours but were concerned about the kids' pace and safety near other passengers.
THE CHARTER
Booked the Outer Islands Day Charter. Crew was briefed on the children before departure. The route was adjusted to include a calmer shallow-water anchor point at Koh Phai well-suited for younger swimmers. Child-sized life jackets were confirmed in advance.
OUTCOME
The family returned with good feedback on the crew's attentiveness with the children and the food quality. The youngest had a nap in the cabin for part of the afternoon. They later booked the evening harbor tour on the final night of their trip.
CASE: MULTI-DAY PASSAGE
THREE-DAY EASTERN SEABOARD TRIP
SITUATION
A group of four colleagues were in Thailand for work and wanted a proper sailing experience away from the resort stretch. Two had sailing background, two were first-time passengers. They wanted to cover real distance, not just circle a bay.
THE CHARTER
The three-day Eastern Seaboard Cruise. The captain briefed the two experienced sailors on the planned passage south. An outer reef anchorage on day two was identified in advance. The two without sailing experience spent time learning basic handling from the crew.
OUTCOME
The group reached the Rayong area on day three and had a quieter beach landing not accessible by road. They described the passage as a highlight of the whole Thailand trip. One member of the group subsequently enquired about a four-day route.

ANNIVERSARY HARBOR TOUR
SITUATION
A couple wanted to mark an anniversary while in Pattaya. They had one evening free and wanted something that felt unhurried and appropriate — not a large group tour with entertainment.
THE CHARTER
Booked the Harbor Evening Tour. On request, the drinks selection was adjusted to include a bottle of Thai sparkling wine. Departure was timed to coincide with the best light on the water. The crew handled service and navigation without drawing attention to themselves.
